Each typeface started somewhere different. Some were inspired by hand-painted signs found around California, others by old photographs, weathered vinyl, or lettering drawn from scratch.
I've taken those references and turned them into usable fonts, keeping the character, quirks, and imperfections that made them worth recreating in the first place.
