Iron Pine is a hand-drawn display font inspired by a hand-painted sign I found in Lone Pine, California. The original lettering had the irregular shapes, uneven proportions, and subtle imperfections you only get when something is painted by hand.
I used those original letterforms as the foundation for the typeface, then built out the remaining characters while staying true to the rules and personality of the original sign.
The download includes two styles: Iron Pine Clean, which preserves the original shapes with smoother edges, and Iron Pine Distressed, which brings back the worn texture and imperfections of the original painted lettering.
Use it for branding, packaging, posters, apparel, signage, merchandise, or anywhere you want typography with an old roadside, Western, hand-painted feel.
Includes clean and distressed styles, uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation.
